Deep Space Diary

Activity 5.1

Webb uses infrared technology to observe space. This means it can see through the space dust that has previously obscured our view and prevented us from learning more about how stars are formed inside dark dust clouds. In this arts and visual literacy activity, students identify the differences between optical and infrared images, to discover some new celestial wonders.
